It worked! It was so fun to watch these grow - seemingly inches every day - and finally blossom cheerily inside, in the dead of winter. I just wish they smelled as good as they look. (Does anyone else think that they smell kind of gross?)

They do have an odd smell. But, their simple beauty is worth it. I always say I am going to force them but haven't. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt was so easy! if you can find a container like this one, its great because you don't have to worry too much about them getting top-heavy and falling over. Now that I know how easy it is, I want to see if I can still get different types of bulbs to force inside throughout the winter. The paperwhites are fading now. :(
